Keyframe Co LLC
Effective October 8, 2026
Keyframe Co runs timed online auctions for select comics — usually rare, expensive, or one-of-one books. These auctions run on a fixed clock with anti-snipe extensions: a bid placed in the final 5 minutes extends the auction by 5 minutes, up to 3 times, so the finish stays honest.
By placing a bid you agree to this Auction Policy. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Each auction shows a starting bid, a minimum increment, a start time, and an end time. You must have a registered account to bid. The highest bid when the clock runs out wins the book — unless a hidden reserve applies (see below).
Buy It Now, when offered, is available only until the first bid lands. Using it ends the auction immediately as a sale to you at the listed price.
Outbid text alerts are optional: add a phone number on your profile and turn them on, and we'll text you the moment someone tops your bid — but only if you've walked away from the auction page. If you're watching live, we stay silent. Reply STOP anytime to opt out.
Every bid is a binding commitment to buy the book at your bid price. Bids cannot be retracted, reduced, or cancelled. Do not bid unless you intend to pay — bid manipulation or backing out of a win may get your account blocked from future auctions.
The winner is emailed an invoice link right after the auction closes. Payment is due within 48 hours. If the winner doesn't pay, we may offer the book to the runner-up at their bid, or relist it. Repeated non-payment will result in a permanent auction ban.
Some auctions carry a hidden reserve — the minimum price we'll sell for. If bidding doesn't reach the reserve, the auction ends with no sale and the book is relisted or kept. The reserve is never disclosed during the auction.
Every auction listing carries honest condition notes and photographs of the actual book. Ask questions through our contact form before you bid — after the hammer falls, auction sales are final.
We never bid on our own auctions — not us, not staff, not family, not friends, not associates. Any auction found to involve shill bidding is voided.
We may cancel an auction before the first bid is placed, correct listing errors (title, photos, description) at any time, and refuse or block accounts engaged in fraud or abuse. Once bidding has started, an auction runs to its clock except in extraordinary circumstances, which we will disclose.
The buyer pays shipping unless the listing says otherwise. Books ship after payment clears, packed collector-safe with tracking, from Roswell, Georgia.
You need a registered Keyframe Co account to bid, and you must be 18 or older (or have a parent or guardian place the bid for you). One account per person — duplicate accounts used to manipulate auctions will be removed.
